Closer to home, I read in the Sunday Times Houses of the Week section that Biddulph Old Hall is up for sale. Andyphiles may remember that Biddulph in Staffordshire was a key location in his book “The Seventh Sword” and the scene of many strange occurrences. Although I can’t quite remember what transpired for Andrew and the gang at Biddulph Old Hall, I know that the nearby Biddulph Grange housed the faux-Egyptian tomb which is pictured in the book and which was crucial to the development of the Quest. If you’re very lucky, I might re-read the relevant parts and put up a post later on tonight. The property is available for £495,000. Here is the link to the property on the estate agent’s website.
